New advice service for Surrey carers

A new service offers free and confidential advice to help carers maximise their income.

Unpaid carers looking after someone with a disability or health condition can now access the Carers Income Maximisation Service. The service is free, confidential and supported by Surrey County Council.

It can help with:

welfare benefits
debt
energy advice
other income options
social care funding advice

The service is delivered by Surrey Welfare Rights Unit in partnership with local Citizens Advice services.
