Age Concern MRR Merstham Day Centre: activities and meals

Age Concern MRR runs a day centre for older people at The Merstham Centre.

The centre gives you a place to meet people, enjoy activities and have a freshly cooked meal.

The day centre is open:

• Monday from 9am to 2pm
• Tuesday from 9.30am to 3.30pm
• Wednesday from 9.30am to 3.30pm
• Friday from 9.30am to 3.30pm

Activities change during the week. The centre also holds themed days and special events during the year.

Meals are cooked at the centre. The menu changes over a nine-week period.

An accessible minibus may be able to take you to and from the centre if you cannot travel there on your own.

Other help at the centre includes:

• a visiting hairdresser by appointment
• NHS hearing aid batteries
• hearing aid tube replacement
• a book exchange

Age Concern MRR also runs:

• a Men's Shed for people with woodworking skills
• a befriending service for older people who feel lonely
• a charity shop selling new and used clothes
