Rushmoor Connect dial-a-ride

Rushmoor Connect is a door-to-door bus service for people who find it hard to use public buses. The buses have handrails, low steps and wheelchair lifts.

You may be able to use the service if:

• you have a sensory or mobility need
• you find it hard to use public buses
• your nearest bus stop is too far away
• there is no bus when you need to travel
• you do not have access to a car

You do not need to be registered as disabled. The service can take wheelchairs and scooters, but cannot take passengers in powered wheelchairs on the tail lift.

Drivers can help you get to the bus and back to your door, if needed.

You need to register before you use the service.

You can book up to 6 days in advance. For planned medical appointments, you can book up to 2 weeks in advance.

Rushmoor Connect runs Tuesday to Saturday. It can take people to places in the service area, such as:

• shops
• social activities
• medical appointments
• trips to The Meadows and Camberley on Tuesdays

The cost depends on where you are going. An essential escort may travel for free.
