Grassroots Community Service
Grassroots Lifeskills Ltd
Grassroots Community Service is a part of the Grassroots Project. It supports adults with a learning disability, autistic adults and people with additional support needs.
The service helps people:
- learn new skills
- build confidence
- make friends
- become more independent
- take part in community life
Activities take place in the community and may include:
- gardening
- growing fruit and vegetables
- woodwork
- arts and crafts
- cooking
- life skills
- health and wellbeing activities
- local visits
- volunteering
People can choose activities that match their interests and goals.
Transport can be arranged on request.
Direct payments and self-referrals are welcome.
Time
9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
