Omega befriending

Omega is a charity that helps people who feel lonely or cut off from others.

Omega offers two free friendship services:

• Chatterbox, for friendly phone calls
• Letterbox, for letters with a pen pal

Chatterbox matches you with a volunteer for regular phone calls. You can talk about your life, family and interests.

Chatterbox can support people who feel very lonely. It can also support people who care for someone else.

There is a wait of about six months for Chatterbox. New users can get phone support for up to 26 weeks.

Letterbox matches you with a volunteer pen pal. You can write friendly letters and share stories.

You can refer yourself. You can also refer someone you know.
