Dementia friendly church service - Down Memory Lane
Church of the Good Shepherd
The Church of the Good Shepherd runs a dementia‑friendly service called Down Memory Lane. It takes place at 2.30pm on the fourth Thursday of every month.
The service lasts 30 minutes.
It includes:
- popular hymns
- familiar readings
- simple prayers
After the service, there is tea and cake.
It is a good chance for people living with dementia, their families and carers to chat with old friends and meet new ones.
The church is in Pyrford, near Woking. It is a warm and welcoming Anglican church.
