Princess Alice Hospice The Man Shed

The Man Shed is a free woodwork group for adults. It is a relaxed place to meet others, learn new skills and spend time together. It is open to men and women, including patients, carers and people who are bereaved.

Everyone starts with a taster session. After this, you can join 16 weekly sessions. If there is space, you may be able to stay longer.

No experience is needed. You can make items for yourself or for someone you care about. You can also help raise money for the Hospice. There is no pressure to talk, but it is a safe place to chat if you want to.

Session groups:

• Men only: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Women only: Tuesday
• Mixed group: Friday

Times:

• Monday to Thursday: 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm
• Friday: 1.30pm to 3.30pm
