Community Physiotherapy east Surrey

First Community's Community Physiotherapy service helps people in east Surrey. It is an NHS service.

The team gives physiotherapy at:

• your home
• a care home
• a nursing home

They can help if you have:

• trouble walking or moving
• poor balance
• had a fall
• had a joint replacement
• had a broken bone
• been unwell and lost strength
• a long-term health condition that affects how you move
• problems using your walking aid
• muscle, bone or joint pain

They can also help with a new walking aid if you need one.

A health care worker must refer you. This could be:

• a physiotherapist
• an occupational therapist
• a GP
• a consultant
• hospital staff
• rehab staff

The service aims to help you move more safely and feel more able to manage at home.
