Friends of the Elderly
Woking Day Care provides care for people living with dementia, including higher needs dementia.
The Centre provides a safe place. People can go there to socialise and get involved in activities.
Activities offered include:
- gardening
- quizzes
- sing-alongs
- arts and crafts
- baking
- gentle exercise
- reminiscence activities
The team is trained to support people with dementia. People who attend can enjoy a light breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.
The Centre is open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm (excluding bank holidays). People can come along for a full day or several days a week. It costs £75.50 per day.
