Papercourt Sailing Club - Sailability
Sailability
Papercourt Sailing Club runs free sailing sessions for disabled people of all ages. Sailability helps people with disabilities enjoy sailing.
Volunteers go out with each sailor in a two‑person boat. When you feel ready, you can try steering. You can also sail in the bigger boat called Lady Jay or use the Wheelyboat. The Wheelyboat can take wheelchairs.
The club has safe Access boats that will not capsize. Two safety boats are always on the water.
Sessions run on the first, third and fifth Friday afternoons from Easter to October, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
It is free and run by volunteers.
