We Are Listening befriending service

We Are Listening helps older people who feel lonely or cut off from others.

The service is offered across the UK.

You can get:

• a friendly phone call each week
• letters from a volunteer pen pal

The Good Call service matches you with a volunteer for a weekly phone call. The volunteer will listen and chat with you.

The Postbox service matches you with a volunteer who likes the same things as you. You can send and receive letters.

There is no set end date for the support. How long it lasts will depend on your needs.
