Camberley Care Trust

Camberley Care Trust is a volunteer-run community service for people in Camberley and Frimley with the GU15 and GU16 postcodes. It helps older people and other local residents who need support.

The charity offers 2 main services:

• a car service for low-cost travel to medical appointments, family visits and social activities
• a handyperson service for small jobs at home that take up to 2 hours

Volunteer drivers can take people to:

• the doctor, dentist, hospital or clinic
• day centres, the optician, the hairdresser or a care home
• visits to family, friends or social events
• shopping trips and other local outings

Drivers cannot lift wheelchairs. If help is needed, the person travelling can bring someone with them.

The service asks for a donation for each journey to help cover costs.
