Tech Angels

Tech Angels is a free service for people in East Surrey, Surrey Downs and Woking who find it hard to get online. It can help you use digital devices, get support from a volunteer and join online groups.

The service is for people who may be most at risk of being left out online, including:

• disabled people
• people with a long-term health condition
• people with mental ill-health
• carers
• older people
• people from Black and minoritised ethnic groups

You can use all of the service, or only the parts you need. Tech Angels can:

• lend you a device, such as a tablet, smartphone or smart speaker, for 6 months
• contact you after 6 months to ask if you want to keep the device for longer
• match you with a volunteer Tech Angel, so you can agree what support you want and what you would like to achieve
• help you join Stay Connected virtual social groups or other groups through the Virtual Wellbeing Hub
• give you the chance to become a virtual volunteer if you are interested

All parts of the service are free.
