Age UK Surrey

Age UK Surrey is a local charity for people aged 50 and over. It helps people enjoy life and stay independent. The charity works across the county.

They provide a range of services including:

• information and advice about benefits, housing, staying independent, care and caring for others
• help at home such as cleaning, housework, companionship, shopping and everyday tasks
• gardening including tidying, cutting and planting
• check in and chat calls to help you stay connected
• tech support such as advice on using digital technology and tech drop-in sessions
• Memory Lane at Home which provides support to people with dementia or memory problems
• footcare services

They also run a range of support groups including:

• Memory Lane sessions to help people with dementia
• dementia friendship groups
• dementia respite sessions
• a community cafe in Milford
• social chat groups
• walks for all abilities
• Men in Sheds social groups

Age UK also run three shops at Molesey, Haslemere and Lingfield.
