Day centres
Day centres, run by the local district or borough councils, often run activities and lunch clubs, and are great places to meet up with new and old friends. Some can also provide a mini-bus to pick you up and take you home again. If you need transport to go to day centres, or get out and see friends, look through the community transport organisations, which include Hoppa, Buses4U and Dial-a-ride.
