Community Angels

Community Angels is a friendship service for adults in Guildford and nearby areas.

The service is for people who feel lonely or cut off from others. It can also help people who are ill or going through a hard time.

A trained volunteer can visit you at home. Support may be for a short time or a longer time.

A volunteer may:

• chat with you over a cup of tea
• go for a walk with you
• try a new activity with you
• help you find other local support

Visits are planned around your needs. They often take place once a week.

You can ask for help yourself. A family member, friend, health worker, care worker or community group can also refer you.
