Rainbow Call Companions is a free telephone befriending service for LGBT+ people aged 75 and over. It supports people who feel lonely or isolated, and would enjoy a friendly chat.
A volunteer calls every week or two. You can talk about anything you like. Calls last about half an hour. The same volunteer calls each time, so you can get to know each other and share stories.
People can:
- sign up themselves
- be referred by a friend or family member
- be referred by a Re-engage volunteer or professional
