Personal Health Budgets: Information, advice and support

If you get a Personal Health Budget, SILC can help you:

• understand what a Personal Health Budget is and what you can spend it on
• learn how to manage your money
• set up and use direct payments, and know what you need to do
• find and hire a personal assistant (PA), and help with training, pay and pensions
• carry out safety checks, like DBS and references, for your PA

You should be referred to SILC when you get your Personal Health Budget. If this does not happen, you can contact them and they will help you get referred.
