Parkinson's Group Elmbridge

The CHEER Parkinson's Group supports people with Parkinson's and their carers.

The group meets every Monday, apart from public holidays.

Each meeting starts with a drink and a chat. This is followed by gentle exercise while sitting down.

The exercise may help with:

• stretching
• strength
• blood flow
• movement

Other activities may include:

• singing
• voice and face exercises
• memory games
• poetry and writing
• talks about news and past events
• help with benefits and Blue Badges

You can buy lunch at the centre. The kitchen can meet some food needs, including soft food diets.

The group gives carers support and time away from caring.
