Concern and Help for East Elmbridge Retired (CHEER)
The CHEER Parkinson's Group meets every week. It meets at the Claygate Centre for the Community. It supports people with Parkinson's and their carers.
The group offers:
- social, physical and mental health benefits for people who take part
- support for carers and time away from caring
- useful info and help with benefits
Each meeting starts with a drink and a chat. After that, there are chair-based movements to help with stretching, blood flow and strength.
